A Year to Celebrate & Looking Ahead to Next Year

Qué año ha sido este, y qué comunidad hemos construido juntos.
Al cerrar este año escolar, me encuentro abrumada de gratitud y orgullo por cada estudiante, familia y miembro del personal que hizo de este un año verdaderamente extraordinario de crecimiento, aprendizaje y alegría.
Un Año para Celebrar
Este año, nuestro Club LIT fue un éxito enorme. Ver a los estudiantes enamorarse cada vez más de los libros y la conciencia fonémica ha sido uno de los momentos más destacados del año, y se reflejó en nuestros resultados. Los puntajes de lectura se dispararon, un reflejo de la curiosidad y dedicación que nuestros estudiantes aportaron a su aprendizaje cada día.
Ese espíritu cobró vida plenamente en la actuación del Teatro de Lectores de anoche. Celebrando la cultura, la familia, el idioma y, sobre todo, los libros, fue una velada que nos recordó a todos por qué este trabajo importa. Cada maestro colaboró y apoyó a sus colegas y estudiantes con tanto corazón e intencionalidad. No podría estar más orgullosa.
Nuestro Programa de Enriquecimiento fue igualmente extraordinario. La Exhibición de esta semana fue impresionante. Los estudiantes tocaron violín, exploraron el ritmo, cuidaron jardines, crearon arte y cocinaron deliciosos platillos, todo bajo la guía de maestros talentosos y dedicados que sacaron lo mejor de nuestros niños. Esta escuela es algo verdaderamente especial, y momentos como estos lo demuestran.
Mirando Hacia el Próximo Año
Al mirar hacia el año 2026–2027, hay algunas formas en que nuestra comunidad puede ayudar:
Vivienda para nuestra nueva maestra de TK — Recibiremos a una nueva maestra a través de nuestro Programa de Maestros Visitantes y necesitamos alojamiento para los meses de julio y agosto. Si tiene algún contacto o conoce disponibilidad, por favor comuníquese con nosotros directamente.
Instructores de Enriquecimiento — Buscamos padres con una habilidad o pasión que deseen compartir con los estudiantes durante un semestre. ¡Si cocina, pinta, jardínea, toca música, programa o tiene algún talento que quiera traer a nuestra escuela, queremos saber de usted!
Empleo: Asistente SCIA y Asistente de Aula — Estamos buscando activamente un Asistente de Circunstancias Especiales de Instrucción (SCIA) y un Asistente de Aula. Buscamos especialmente personas pacientes y conocedoras que hablen español dentro de nuestra comunidad.
Empleo: Conserje — También buscamos un Conserje confiable y trabajador que nos ayude a mantener nuestra escuela limpia, segura y acogedora para todos.

Dear Families,
What a year it has been and what a community we have built together.
As we close out this school year, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for every student, family, and staff member who made this such a remarkable year of growth, learning, and joy.
A Year to Celebrate
This year, our LIT Club was a tremendous success. Watching students fall deeper in love with books and phonemic awarentess has been one of the true highlights of the year, and it showed in our results. Reading scores soared, a reflection of the curiosity and dedication our students brought to their learning every single day.
That spirit came alive in full force at last night's Readers Theater performance. Celebrating culture, family, language, and, best of all, books, it was an evening that reminded us all why this work matters. Every teacher collaborated and supported one another and their students with such heart and intentionality. I could not be prouder.
Our Enrichment Program was equally extraordinary. The Showcase this week was stunning. Students performed violin, explored rhythm, tended garden beds, created art, and cooked beautiful food- all guided by talented, dedicated teachers who brought out the very best in our children. This school is something truly special, and moments like these prove it.
Looking Ahead to Next Year
As we look toward 2026–2027, we have a few ways our community can help:
Housing for our new TK Teacher — We are welcoming a new teacher through our Visiting Teachers Program and are in need of housing in the July–August timeframe. If you have a lead or know of availability, please reach out to us directly.
Enrichment Instructors — We are looking for parents with a skill or passion they'd love to share with students for a semester. If you cook, paint, garden, play music, code, or have any talent you'd like to bring into our school, we want to hear from you!
Hiring: SCIA & Classroom Aide — We are actively seeking a Special Circumstance Instructional Aide (SCIA) and a Classroom Aide. We are especially looking for patient, knowledgeable Spanish speakers from our community. Hiring: Custodian — We are also looking for a reliable, hardworking Custodian to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for all.
